With proper permitting conditions and an approved guide, you may have the opportunity to take your jet ski into the Atlantic Ocean for an incredible riding experience!
Ocean riding offers breathtaking coastal views and the chance to see dolphins, sea turtles, and other local marine life. It’s an exhilarating way to experience the Carolina Beach coastline from a whole new perspective. However, ocean conditions can vary and this ride can be physically demanding.
For your safety:
- Ocean access is available only with a CBJSR guide and staff approval
- Additional guidance and safety instruction will be provided
- Participation is always at staff discretion based on conditions and rider ability

Important: Ocean riding is strictly prohibited without a guide. Entering the ocean without permission will result in immediate termination of your rental without refund. If conditions at the time of your reservation are not permitting for operating in the ocean, you will receive a refund of additional charges and revert back to a normal free style rental.
